The Bensalem Rotary Club

Dr. Jerry Gordon believes a commitment to community service is a top priority. He is actively involved with his local Rotary Club and has also created The Dental Comfort Zone Scholarship Fund.

Dr. Gordon served as president of the Bensalem Rotary Club from 1998-99. During his year as president, Dr. Gordon established the first food bank ever sponsored by his club. Money was raised and donations were sent to Central America to help people recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Mitch.

The Bensalem Rotary Club also donated to the local Multiple Sclerosis Society as well as other area charities.

BCHIP Children’s Dental Program

The Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership Children’s Dental Program (www.BCHIP.org) provides dental care for children in Bucks County that are 18 years of age or younger and do not have dental insurance, Medical Assistance or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Dr. Jerry Gordon has participated with the program since 1998

The Dental Comfort Zone awards $500 scholarships every year to outstanding Bensalem High School seniors pursuing careers in dentistry, medicine, or nursing. All applicants must also show a strong commitment to community service.

Internship

Are you interested in a career in dentistry? The Dental Comfort Zone is looking to help motivated young men and women learn more about the profession of dentistry through a voluntary intern program. Call the office for more details.

"The internship at the Dental Comfort Zone with Dr. Gordon was a great experience. There was a lot of clinical experience, following Dr. Gordon around and seeing the actual procedures being done, which was a very practical way to learn about the field. By the end of the internship, I became very familiar with dentistry my interest in the field grew exponentially. The Dental Comfort Zone also helps train dental assistants affiliated with the prestigious Sanford Brown Institute (http://www.sbphilly.com/programs/dental.asp).

Discounts for Senior Citizens

The Dental Comfort Zone gives all patients 65 years of age or older a 10% discount on all treatment, or on all copays from dental insurance plans.

The Dental Comfort Zone is extending a benefit program for retired professional football players in our area.  Football is more than just a sport to many of us, it is an import part of the fabric of our society.  Those who have built this sport into what it is today deserve the support of their communities...
